DANDELION
I am Dandelion with sun ray flowers, yellow and bright. .Upon a stem filled with fluid, milky and white. Drops of my sap upon a wart, many times a day, results in the wart simply going away. This is one of the many healings Dandelion achieves, from stems, roots, flowers, and even the leaves.
A gift from the mysterious and powerful Gaia, to those weaving healing herbs into their beliefs. For Gaia, or Mother Earth, is now known to be more than simple bio-geo-chemistry. Oceans and lands, the weather and atmosphere, rocks, trees, birds, animals, and rest of the biosphere, are really parts of a very complex "being". Looked at as a whole, it is planet Earth, you are seeing. Within Gaia's fabric is woven a web, from which all that is living is fed, all that is needed from shelter to bread. and of all the medicine herbs, Gaia has one special gift; it's how I give the whole body such a marvelous lift.
By increasing the amount of urine and bile, the kidneys and gallbladder give, I help the liver become a more efficient sieve. The result is bloodmuch cleaner, more capable of cleaning the body of toxins, waste, and blockages, if you get my meaning.
Problems with excema-like skin and digestion, rheumatism,
gout, and chronic constipation are lessened by clean blood
in circulation.
For a 1,000 years, from healers worldwide, My reputation
grown: has "Official Remedy for Disorders" by 17
Century England, as a favorite diuretic "pee in bed", and in
France, "Teeth of the Lion", I am known. But in America,
they want me dead. A weed, not a healer and not a
nurturing food, as I am viewed by the millions I have fed,
Since time began, in every part of Gaia's web.
