Assisted Self Healing is based on a firm belief that each client I encounter has a powerful drive toward self-healing. Assisted Self Healing is heart-centered and spiritually directed, incorporating love, compassion and respect as the guiding forces behind the work.

Assisted Self Healing is a departure from the medical model of psychological counseling, which views people seeking help as patients and identifies them as mentally ill. Placing clients into disease categories is confining and disempowering. In contrast, my primary focus is not on a client's weaknesses but on his/her strengths.

My goal is to empower clients through their personal action, effort and self-responsibility. I view myself as a personal coach who guides, supports, and encourages. I enlist the client's intuition and creativity in the healing process, the realization of the true self.
